What you will be learning

Information and Computer Security (20 credit points)
Gain an in-depth exploration into the theory and practice of information security management. Engage with the core principles of cyber security, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability, alongside advanced topics such as risk management, information security architectures, and the human factors affecting security. Develop critical thinking and practical skills in assessing security risks, implementing security controls, and responding to cyber incidents. Acquire a holistic understanding of information and computer security challenges, enabling them to devise and implement innovative security solutions within organizational contexts.
Computer Forensics (20 cp)
Develop a critical appreciation of the theoretical and practical issues in the field of computer forensics. Learn the necessary skills, methodologies, and processes to conduct an initial computer forensics investigation within an organisation and gain an in-depth understanding of the importance of various computing systems in computer forensics investigations.
